A House

When You start showing me why you made the world the way You did and that You were thinking about me when You made it all.

You knew I would see it and I would need it. 

Think about the intention and love that you so thoughtfully have for every detail of our lives. That You are inviting us into this true conversation about ourselves not to just enjoy, but to give us a purpose and meaning to our lives. 

That there is nothing random about us to You and delight in communicating this to me every day of my life in the seen and the unseen. That everything is working and coming together to serve a greater purpose in the story. A story that I am a part of I would once say to me a Ms. no one from nowhere, but it turns out no one from nowhere is sometimes precious in Your sight. 

You have a sense of humor that I cannot compare to anything natural.

 These are some of the ways of God. I guess I am supposed to have a sense of humor too! Apparently, life is not so serious, yet it is. Heavenly things. 

If I am someone You are mindful of, I think of how much more is everything around me. Once you ask me something about what it feels like to be the only human being alive on the earth. With the entire bodies of water and the land, I felt terrified. Deeply understanding that everything around me was alive! That I would likely be devoured by it. I could almost hear the sound of it and not the animal kingdom. 

I dig a little deeper. 

Everything is set in its time and place. I actually have no control of anything. I am a daughter of God constantly in need of You and in that place, I became aware of it. A divine mystery that even the grass needs You. The Word coming alive before my eyes. The Word is alive. It is more alive than I am. It is not just a bunch of text on a page with numbers; it lives and breathes. That everything is actually found in there and my sin sometimes smothers out a flame that knows and moves me into a direction. The same Word is actually alive in my heart, I know it when I see it.
