A Song of Sand
In the most unusual places lay things we may never expect to find. I am thankful that my expectations are surpassed. I am thankful that You Father care about all people. That the world I know and don't know is far greater than I imagined and so are the needs.
That when I am here resting someone else is rising, that the person rising is still experiencing You in a totally different way. Father, that You are gigantic. You care about ALL people.
There is no partiality with God. That we were created for purposes, and You created this earth with diversity. We have more now than we ever have in my time, have made the design to hate and loathe each other for foolish reasons. Yes, we decided, love is a choice not a feeling.
Why can we not accept the fact that God made us all originals? It wasn't a mistake. Just like there are no mistakes in the color of the rainbow. All of those colors are intentional, yes different but completely perfectly intentional. It was for Your good pleasure.
We as humanity have found all of these colors valuable.
Do we hate color in any other area or form of life? Do we walk around thinking evil because the color of lavender is offensive? Do we decide the color of spinach is so offensive we cannot eat it? Do we enjoy a milk chocolate truffle and find it unsatisfactory because of the color of cacao? Do we despise the colors of gems? No. We know there is a value to them. So why is when we look at each other's skin and humanity that we find ourselves outraged by a hue, outraged by an identity different than our own.
Refusing to understand the beauty and rich value each significant one brings to this world. Our voice matters, we matter. We can appraise houses, but we cannot appraise truth. When are we going to be ready to digest some hard truths? Let us indulge in the array of collaboration and color we have for our use.Let us not indulge in this self-imploding hatred. Let us appreciate value, care, and love like we are designed to. To a point that shakes the world.
Every region of our world is valuable and so are the tribes and culture of humanity. In our weakness we project hate crimes about race. We accuse ourselves of our own hypocrisy because many of us our whole lives have enjoyed the benefits of things from far away cultures and lands. Yet smite the giver. Like cinnamon for example I can enjoy this because a beautiful place that exists foreign to me decided to share this with me.
Ignorance can really be bliss.
We are so proud. We are divided because we perceive differences as our enemy and limit ourselves to blocks in our minds. These blocks are not the building kind.
The whole world is mine, my Father said it. Sure, that sounds childish to some, but it is true. In that I have the capability to see the world through a correct lens. The lens to see as I should.
When I have met someone who is foreign and maybe we don't share a basic language, how is it we are still able to communicate? Because we both are human! And if we are humble enough to desire to communicate, we can. I can tell a lot about a person even if I do not know their words. We are able to appreciate, accept, and respect each other. We are not baboons. We were made this way.
Hatred is petty. So is our broken evaluation, first of ourselves, and secondly our evaluation of the world at large. Let us shine on in seeking to understand the mystery of humanity and perhaps like children we can receive the knowledge and understanding to explore and heal the world we are a part of.
who are you? And when you ask yourself look past all the bruises of this life and deep within? Who are you?
Many blessings to a better humanity and a better world. To the world.
Jesus Christ Forevermore
