Freedom Is A FIGHT

What is freedom? a concept in our culture often equated to masked escapades of rebelliousness. Justifying our own need of self-righteousness, approval of others, injecting the venom of our own sin and pride in this world.
As dark as that may sound it is what most of us know, and only by the grace of Jesus Christ can we hope in true life.
We are taught we need man's or societys permission and or approval to be who or do what God has called us to be. We can settle that in the Holy Spirit of truth by examining the history of Israel through the word of God.
This is an obvious blatant and ridiculously lie. Surely man-made cultural traditions always conflict with the Holy Spirit. This is not new as it has been thus so since the beginning.
Our heavenly Father's design, true Kingdom culture is that of freedom. No slaves or titles in heaven. We as beloved children of God are not saved to be put back into the bondage of fear, but have now received the spirit of adoption in which we cry out Abba Father!
The deception of false imposed freedom of a life somehow duped into feeling that we left a legacy which is usually nothing more than a grotesque stain of our unrepentant filth and sin. By the time we realize this it is often too late as we lose to foolishness.
Hats off! A life well lived? Chasing and abusing raw beautiful freedom that is a gift to liberate us not kill us. None are immune to being exposed to this and if we're not walking in the Spirit make no mistake we will be deceived by sin, culture, the love of this world.
As I dig deep in this heart of mine with the grace and love of Jesus. Light shines into every dark, crooked, self-righteous part of myself. I feel convicted every single day of life in this flesh suit, my sin nature is a fight. Wrestling with this body of death, and the truth is it never ends until we see His glorious face. Faith and walking with Christ is not easy.
With this Holy Spirit knowledge we have a forged weapon in truth this beauty, this life force. Yet all at the same time our fragility exposed having our sinful nature flood against the truth, to fight for its lusts that lead no where but to death.
Our flesh cares nothing about what is pure or true, just what temporarily feels good. Our flesh will never lead us in the right direction. I am certain it will always lead us stray away from the truth. Away from Jesus, away from light. We must admit our natural disposition is not to anything but death without Jesus driving.
That is a truth we all must deal with and accept. Our flesh does not care about our well being, we often downplay the reality of the impact of our carnal nature. To do so is a dangerous gamble with one's precious soul.
Our freedom fights, the battles often reside right is us. I am so very thankful for the love and mercy of Jesus Christ, that He saw fit to die for me and all my filthy messes. The truth is we have nothing to offer Him.
Seriously nothing? Why? Because everything is already His. We're deceived when we think we impress Him by any standard. Even on our best days, we fall short to the glory of God. That is why it is called grace it is a gift, none can boast in themselves.
Everything is the LORDS? What is a man that God should even be mindful of him? He is not impressed by our titles, achievements, degrees, resumes, public speaking abilities, chrasmtic ways, our flesh is not pleasing to God. Not in any way.
Romans8:6 nkjv
For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
( Notice it says to be carnally minded is DEATH!! Not bad for you a little bit, no, DEATH the power of the grave, walking around dead)
Romans 8:8 nkjv
So, then those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
Freedom is truth, and that is we're either connected to the truth in Jesus Christ or we are NOT. Or we are disconnected and deceived by our own lustful passions and usually, which when left unchecked for too long sears our conscious.
I do not believe most of us willingly walk into an apostate state or walk into seared consciousness. I do believe the power of sin makes fools of us and we can end up lying so much justifying it that we don't even realize lying is wrong anymore.
I have found true freedom in this life with Jesus Christ. True freedom.
It is not always easy or pretty, glamorous, I may not understand or know all the hows or all the answers. However, I know I am loved by our Heavenly Father who lavishes me in all truth and wisdom, and His desire is to have that with us all. When we ask with sincerity. This love which is mine a precious gift, and the Holy Spirit is right with me every moment of every day.
Accepting truth which only comes from Jesus Christ is contrary to popular belief. The truth will make you uncomfortable. In fact, it can be downright painful.
The more I learn by the grace, mercy, and love of Jesus Christ the more I am able to understand in a fuller way that freedom is not being able to do anything I want to do.
It is the opposite of that it has nothing really to even do with me. It is actually knowing the Fathers will, and that His words are true and pure, and is the exclusive place where all truth stems from. Anything outside of that is simply a lie.
The task, is the accepting of WHAT IS. That is freedom.
As much as our sin and the temptation to believe deception may be pleasurable and enjoyable it leads to death, and we must not partake.
We must work out our salvation with fear and trembling. It is no small matter in the sight of a Holy God, and shouldn't be to us either.
That is why deception and sin are so powerful when left unchecked, Thankfully by the blood of Jesus we are saved. We all get to those places of spiritual arrogance where we think we got this sin thing on the down. No, it is a daily process that never stops. We deceive ourselves when we're not aware of this truth on the daily.
The example of the adulterer(we seriously need to stop using these examples and maybe start with ones like the gossiper, slanderer note to self) who is tempted by the beautiful vessel of his heart's desire, just like Samson, as much as it was pleasurable at the end of his sin nothing but death awaited him.
It was all a delusion and knowing truth he could not accept the truth about that woman. His lusts would not allow him to. Deceived by his own lust full passions. The same women who brought him much pleasure also betrayed him and lead him straight into the snare of the fowler.
The power of sin. I make my boasts only in the Lord and His mercy and love the only one able to save. Nothing in this world equates. Why because we like it are created beings.
When the truth comes will we accept it? That is the question of most significance? What do we do with the truth? The truth is no task of the weak. Without the Holy Spirit, we cannot handle the truth.
The reality that we live in a world where the spiritual realm is much more a reality than the natural. As much as we love others, much evil is in the hearts of men, and few genuinely love Jesus Christ who say they do.
To my brothers and sisters in Christ, I pray all our hearts be searched so we can be led in into the way of everlasting and cleansed in the truth of the living God Jesus Christ.
My cry is that He pour out truth that we may no longer ignore it, let us become lovers of truth instead of self.
I pray that freedom be ours, give us your courage Jesus to lay hold of it.
Father in the name of Jesus Christ,
I pray that every backslider, who may be deceived with a seared conscious who has got snared into sin and is so deep in it that we may not realize the chain waiting to hang us, shame us, and be the death of us. Call us home to your love. Holy Spirit open all of our eyes to see the way you see and saturate us in this hour with the love of the Father. How we need you, Jesus. Let us not be afraid to accept truth for what it is life. Father let us know your perfect good will of our every day, and push us towards you in all fullness of love and joy in our hearts. Let us never forget our need of saving and the need and gift of true repentance free and available.
In the name of Jesus Christ My King
Forever Holy and Sovereign Lord
Who is no respecter of persons
Whose love endures forever
Amen & Amen.
~A Woman who is Free in Christ Jesus who can cry out Abba Father
