The journey of the not so glamorous yet fun journey to love

Why do we assume things instead of asking to learn the truth of a matter? We all do this every day; I am just as bad as anybody. Why do we do this though? Why do we go around looking for evidence to make others what we want them to be? Why do we try to control other people? Why do we stress when we have to admit we are wrong? Why are we dispositioned to think we can never be wrong?

I have questions and I want answers. lol haha.

Do we really want to understand? Or do we just enjoy pretending we do?

I think they both take the same amount of energy.

The truth is though seldom do people want to understand us. I believe that is why we argue. (eewww)

This is a perfect example.

Contrary to popular belief I am one of the quietest people on the earth, however this is misconstrued because when I do speak, I have something to say.

So why do we misconstrue? How are we connecting the dots or our dots? What is the case what is the filter? Is it through the Word of God and the Holy Spirit? Or do we like to blow our bigheads up like bubble gum? I know I do sometimes.

Hmmm.

Learns

  1. People in general do not enjoy being manipulated.

  2. Forgiveness requires understanding.

  3. Trust is foundational.

  4. Love is all selfless.

  5. Arguing is ugly. (there is difference between a conversation and an argument)

  6. Misfits are awesome!!
