My Faith A THING Of

I always believed that about living out my faith. I feel much more humility thinking about Your church. It's big not easy stuff, good stuff though. It is for the tough. I heard a lyric one and it said faith is not about soft stuff. I know it's true. I mean that wholly, you have to grab it by the lapels or sometimes or it grabs you.

Not so much.

A lot of prayer and checking in. To respect and to fear it. Knowing Your lordship. You are over it over everything, governing it. The Godhead bodily. If want to be able to call ourselves leaders, leaders who lead people to Christ. The Father's business.

If we want to be cut in at His table. It is sort funny because it is a real business. The most imperative kind. We are all impactful in our own ways. I mean in our dealings with the Word and working that word in our lives.

Pulpits are not trivial nor are they upheld well by man alone. It takes Jesus Christ His Spirit. This is the way of everything in Your house. Our ways pale in comparison to Yours.

Does it cost us and suffers us, like we know it rightly should it. But still is difficult. A zeal for the things of God.

Remember when I came fresh out of my wilderness in the bright new world! Everything was so crisp. I would laugh at the modern-day religious hypocrisy I could see it so easily. I wondered if that is what it was actually called. I thought this is just men. The reed in the wind.

Regular men and sin. Yes, religion seemed so foreign, but it creeps hard on us and always brings us back to Christ on our knees, our ass, or face.
