Reverse Psychology & Slander

What is slander? We all know too well what slander is unfortunately to some degree if it is not the first. We all have been exposed to even its filth at some point or simultaneously; by family, friends, coworkers, brethren, officials, governments, boyfriends, girlfriends, exs, wives(s), husband(s). That's just the crock pot and I have not even started with our enemy or the plural manifestation of that.

No, I'm not the Pillsbury dough boy, remember those prototype butter knife cookies. I'm definitely not going to change who I am to be Vidal Sassoon. I don't need a double that smells like money, cheap sex, and has an altered ego, called unsure. These are not draft picks. This is MY LIFE!!! Wow! That felt good. This is not TLC creep playbacks it certainly is not crazy, sexy, cool.

I am thankful for that! God certainly is good and in that I know He is not morphing me into something I'm not. He is all about authenticity which is found securely in Him. Since it is found in Him it is safe to say that authenticity is also found in me. I am His workmanship, so are you whether you know it or not.

I'm not the most glamorous person but is not a far stretch to imagine.

Slander…..so it begins a story told long ago. Sin. In simple forms, and in humanity dialects it is a vicious form of widely spread (trash) I mean lies. The purpose of these vicious accusations and lies are to try to sabotage one's identity, reputation, thwart one's position, disabling the truth, to block one's success, to sabotage purpose, to wage war against one's livelihood in the presence of mankind. Why? Slander is a rather interesting choice of weapon. It is a weapon of mass confusion which is used to cover the perp's ill intention.

If one spreads mass volumes of slander the footprint gets a little harder to trace. Slander is this ridiculous vain assumption. It is vanity on steroids. That later forms into this outlandish disposition that some else's worth is based on our o pin ion. To slander is to suggest in word and action, that your defective words are an implication of someone else (choice target), but really are only a reflection of your own self and character. Which only smoke screens the sentence you cannot say to yourself "I'm hurting and cannot deal with myself."

Slander is a win in some sense. One you've already won because of the very fact that someone sees your win in you. That is not reverse psychology it is sort of a twisted compliment. I call these divine conformations and promotions. New levels of new devils. The larger the blessings attached to your life the more threat you are to a Kingdom that opposes all things blessing and all things good.

People have been slandering other people for centuries, thankfully we have an institution that deals with slander. Yes an institution which is not mud wrestling. Slander is composed to set a ugly stage of crimes against humanity, financial crime, sex crime, human right outrages, organized crime, all kinds of "isms", mass deception, blue collar crime, white collar crime , no collar crime, religious crime, hate crime, a long list I could go on forever.

The serpent's tongue.

The irony of slander is that those who indulge in this death truffle, do not realize they are likely victims of the same weapon by the same person. That is a character defect or maybe not. Maybe more of a kingdom defect.

The reverse psychology of slander is that maybe if you hear lies long enough you will start to believe them.

Lies about the world and yourself. Lies about your present and lies about your future.

I believed Jesus when He said it was finished. I also believe in a standard of humanity that actually functions and is not a succubus of human dysfunction at it is best.

May slander is not your lullaby and may truth set you free. May we see our worth based on the truth not on the tongue of serpents, and slanders. May we be immune and wash ourselves with repentance. May venom is not the norm. And may real Justice shine in all the dark places. May it find us all on our knees in repentance. To a better world of love and flourishing. May the Lord have mercy on us all.
