The Elected

The powerful reality of being elected. The knowing that some things are so real and unchangeable that they shift everything around us, instead of just shifting us. The KNOW that there are things and conditions around me that are bigger than me I am at Your mercy.

Even though circumstances and conditions may be larger than me, I was made in the image of God. I am a image bearer of Christ. I am many things but first and foremost I am Your daughter Your beloved that You died for. I am a warrior because my Heavenly Father is. Our Kingdom suffers violence and the violent take it by force.

In that violence as we fight through war that is older than me, I am certain of my election. I am certain that war will not last forever, and soon it shall cease and we will be in His in His glory. Where no more tears and no more pain exsist not even a memory.

I am to rejoice that my name is written in the Book of Life, not because I am celebrated here on earth. I am reminded not be haughty that I have authority over things, and whose authority do I have but the only authority there is Jesus Christ.

The only authority I recognized yet is not the only thing. The things You freely give that we learn are just a part of us, like breathing oxygen. Freely given freely received. Thank you.

The world is Your footstool and everything in it.

Thank you for certainty Spirit of Truth my Comforter and my Helper. As the entire earth shifts and I hear what You are saying, and I know my election is certain. Let love grow in the oddest of places like a Lilly amongst thorns whose promise gave birth to a love that endures forever.

To immortality and life that also endures forever. I am ready to live and preparing to worship You forever. To our beautiful home to You Jesus my everything.
