The Op press

To Oppress

op·press /əˈpres/

verb verb: oppress; 3rd person present: oppresses; past tense: oppressed; past participle: oppressed; gerund or present participle: oppressing

  1. keep (someone) in subservience and hardship, especially by the unjust exercise of authority. "a system that oppressed working people"

To oppress what that means in the 21st century and in the know, by now I mean today. To see the world through the lense of truth. I must and you must push past all the allure, lust, and smoked disguise. A world that pretends to be all put together but when we really take a deep look we see. What we see is something alarming the silent and not so silent cries of oppression. The shaking the quakes within breaking new ground.

The great oppression I wrote about it long ago. Well not soo long ago, depending on how one tells time. Systematic punishment. The new way of life? is it? is it true? is it just?

How is it we live in a world where all it wants to do is make head lines and not see the oppression being pulled over and under our eyes. Its not always with a bang!

I have been examining the two edges of this both with Jesus Christ and faith, and reviewing it in plain English with no apologies. I find the dynamics quite clever, quite interesting, and quite oppressive. I mean it, some things are made to look good, are really not good. My faith tells me loudly that to be rejected by this world is to confirm and affirm I have been chosen by God and that I am precious to Him. To be rejected by man, many know this oppression and blessing disguised. To be pressed on every side yet blessed.

I am not in love with this world and I cannot say that I am surprised by its fallen nature. After all, it is written from back to front. We are without excuse. What I AM however is made to hate injustice, which I do. Hate is a strong word. With that said remembering in this "sneaky" GREAT OPPRESSION, that to define it and refining it is a large part of the impact.

What is important is that I know God is good. What is even more awesome I know He is for me.

I tell you now in these times where we can see the word oppression defined clearly and cannot deny it that we take heed.

Jesus Christ Forevermore

I Will Never Drop the Name

Amen.
