Worship is Warfare it Deleted...

To be a true worshipper in Christ Jesus in spirit and truth. Not just lip eye service or arm candy. I know it's true. I remember a time when I desperately needed a touch from God but I was too proud to pour myself into authentic worship. I was in deep need and Jesus already knew it before I came with the need. I batted my eyelashes and hummed the lyrics but deep inside something was pulling me into more. Another step of faith a deeper calling into the love I needed that touched and healed everything.

Ever had a cut a someone treated it with fresh alcohol instead of the preferred polysporn or hydrogen peroxide. One of these stings and I know it's being cleansed but it hurts. I always preferred the topical with the least amount of friction. Topicals are good until they aren't. Maybe something more intensive is required. This is intense.

God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.

True worship. Holy Spirit filled worship and nothing less. This is what truly pleases the Lord. I want to be a woman who pleases the Lord yep. Especially above man and myself. Who wants to be a bonefide God pleaser? I totally do, sold to me little dove.

This might not make me the best musician or singer or song writer. But it is a position of my heart that He by He I mean thee only Jesus Christ wants my heart to stay in. I so arrogantly said a long time ago, that I don't know how to sing but I know how to worship. It was a semi boast and an excuse. Leave that there.

That not only does He desire this position when we feel good. He desires this position when we are suffering in anguish. In the deepest darkest hour he expects us to worship in spirit in truth. To put it all down at His feet and to enter into His presence in Spirit and truth right into the throne room of Heaven right up into his ear.

This sweet incense freely offered up to Him. Willingly purely without any withholding.

Maybe that doesn't make me the most epic recording artist. But it is like a string a distinct sound that Heaven can hear. This sound poured out cannot be mistaken cannot be faked. It's a language that is deeply felt. The language of His beloved saints a type of home where it becomes all about Jesus and not about me.
